Syracuse University Regular Decision 2021 (& 2022)

@meganewarren I wonder if we will get emails.

@acron611 I really REALLY hope so.

The financial aid thing most likely does not mean anything because for me at least it used to be there and then went away and now it’s back

Hm we will here back if it’s today so

didnt hear back

@acron611 me either…I’m guessing no one did since there hasn’t been any updates on here. :((

sigh @meganewarren.

I think we should expect this friday

apparently decisions last year came out as late as late April

but so far

still

nothing

I told myself I had to make a decision before spring break…so if I don’t hear by then I guess SU is out :frowning:

What are my chances:

Major: computer science

GPA: 3.3
ACT: 31
2 AP classes this year (including AP Comp Sci) at a very competitive high school (top 20 in the country)
Lot of ECs

Good chance according to CDS. I think they’ll take into account your school’s rigor too.

My financial aid year changed to 2018 too! Hopefully a good sign

Can someone tell me my chances please? Thanks!

GPA: 3.7, all honors, one AP (I got a 4.0 junior year and currently have a 4.2 with straight A’s senior year)

SAT: 1150 (unfortunately), 550 on math, 600 on reading

Lots of EC’s including 2 varsity sports and more

My school is a pretty competitive prep school as well

@mikej99 what schools are you applying to?

I’m pretty sure they just release on fridays. So like I used to check everyday but now every Friday [-O<

@LaurynMV I got into loyola MD, fairfield, saint joes, and marist, all with scholarships. Still waiting on Nova, Cuse, Binghamton, and Fordham

@mikej99 that’s great! But sorry I meant to say which school in Syracuse because your acceptance chances is based in that school’s average stats. For example, if you’re applying to Arts and Sciences then you have a great shot but if you were applying for Newhouse, it would be a reach but never impossible being that Newhouse is looking for a 3.9 and Arts and Sciences is looking for a range of 3.5-3.7. Same goes for Whitman that may want you to have a 3.7, around there. But don’t forget that they are holistic and your grades aren’t the only thing that matters.
Best of luck!

What is the average GPA for Falk?
