I really hope I get in, im nervous. I need to send my transcript by may so I still have a long time to go
Are you applying for fall 2018? Don’t worry about it! If you show your interest in the school and you have the stats, I’m sure you will get in. Are you planning on having an interview?
@ritzrabbit I applied last year as a freshman but didn’t get in, but had an interview then. I am applying as a sophomore transfer now
@mishk90 I applied and was rejected as a freshman too! Also, I didn’t even have an interview, then or now.
I got accepted the other day with a 3.1 GPA … anyone else accepted??
@“vanillaa.swirl” and @ritzrabbit how many credits did you transfer?
If they take all of my credits, I would be transferring in 45.
So far, I have completed 31 though, at the end of the semester it will be 45.
I’ll be transferring in 32 credits
So that’s great for a first semester sophomore. Hopefully, all of our credits will transfer!
I hope I get in ah
Im sure you will! Dont worry too much about it and try your best
thank you, I appreciate it!
Hi. I am wondering if anyone is trying to apply as first semester Soph for Fall 2018 AFTER you finish freshman year? I just finished my first semester at another school and got a 3.72! I applied and was rejected from Syracuse last year based on a low HS GPA and scores.
My question is: do I wait until I have the credit hours to not apply with HS info? So like Mid May 2017. And do they automatically look up my old app anyway? thanks.
^ you need to email them to reopen your applicTion, apply once you get your final grades
mishk90 thank you for the response. If they open my application then wont they be using/seeing why they rejected me to start, or that doesn’t matter. thanks
It won’t matter, just as long as you keep an upward trend, you should be fine!
Also, we should make a groupme for this chat if it starts getting more and more popular
Hey guys! so I’m planning to apply to SU and enrolling into the college of arts and science right after spring semester (hoping to boost up my GPA) does anyone know if that’s would be good idea. my current gpa is a 3.2 btw. and is this school a high and demand?
@Ochi123 I think there have been a good number of people with 3.2 GPA- as long as you’re having an upward trend you should be good. I’m applying after the spring semester for the fall of 2018 (CAS as well)! Definitely keep bringing your GPA up, have a good essay, and recs and you should be good!
