I know that Newhouse is the most nationally known, but how does it compare to Ithaca's Park School? I like Ithaca's size better, and it seems that Syracuse can get rowdy, but Newhouse is definitely a powerful name in the Comm. world. Syracuse is also about $15000 more expensive, which is doable, but doesn't leave much for after graduation.

Both are excellent and highly respected. So now the choice comes down to fit -where you’ll be able to thrive, because ultimately what YOU do at college is much more important for your career than the name of your college. If you prefer a college town to an industrial city, and a more personal educational setting to a larger university, then you should go to Ithaca and do your utmost to take advantage of every opportunity there (getting to know your professors well, keeping a 3.5 GPA, looking for internships as early as freshman year…)
Since in addition, Ithaca is more affordable, then… there’s no contest in my mind.
(Use the money saved to set aside for a possible unpaid internship after freshman year, for example.)
