T Mobile at Wellesley?

Hey everyone,

I attend Wellesley, but I don't know anyone who has T Mobile. I know there have been past threads about this, but I want more recent information.

I'm thinking of switching carriers (from Verizon). Does anyone know about the T Mobile coverage on campus? I know Verizon is the best, but I'm really having a problem with them customer service-wise.

My D is just finishing up her first year at Wellesley & has T Mobile. She calls us regularly & we have not encountered any problems with reception. I remember reading past threads on this subject & people said T Mobile was really bad, but I think there is a new tower or something that has improved the service a lot.

T-Mobile coverage was poor last year. We switched to Sprint because of bad reception. don’t know if it is better now.

My friend with T Mobile doesn’t get coverage in the Tower dining hall.

T-Mobile used to not work at all on campus. They put in a new pole near campus last year, so coverage is good most everywhere around campus.

I have T-Mobile. When I visited in October, I had no service everywhere on campus. This past April I got coverage everywhere I went.

Just curious, what would be the recommended service provider over there? I’m wondering because I might be changing providers this summer and I want one where I will definitely get signal.

T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon are the big three. I also know people who use MetroPCS and Sprint.

for most of the campus, t-mobile is fine. however, i had very little to no service in bates when i went to spring open campus
