TA/Tutor/Free Period?

Okay, so I found out that there's no class I can take in the seventh period. So I can either leave school after sixth period, be a TA (preferrably for a biology/chemistry teacher...), or do peer tutoring, in which, well, I tutor other students (my GC recommended that I tutor math and/or sciences).

First of all, which do you think looks better for colleges? Peer tutoring (I don't think this may be seen as an EC or volunteering, as it's part of the school program) or being a TA? Also, from your experiences, these things don't affect your GPA, right?

I have no idea about the first question, but as for the second I'm fairly sure it doesn't. I TAed for my band director for a semester and at my school when you TA you get a P/NC grade (Pass/No Credit). I got .25 elective credit for it, but as far as I know it didn't change my GPA because, well, what would a P equate to? (Of course, I didn't pay much attention to my GPA, but I can't see TAing affecting a GPA.)
