Tactical Timing Mistake. Please help

So i canceled my May Subject test scores, thinking that the college board offers them in september also.

Unfortunately, it doesnt. I will have to take it in october.

My question is how long does it usually take for SAT subject test scores to come out?

They usually get to the colleges in time for Early Decision, or Early Action, Nov.1. Check your college’s website–they will say which testing date is the last one acceptable for the various application deadlines.

Are you planning to do ED or EA, or just regular decision?

It takes about 20 days for scores to become available.
(Collegeboard told me that for SAT II that I took June 5th, my scores will be available the 24th. of June.)

Im doing EA so thats why im so worried.

So i will have the scores by the time Early apps are due?

DD canceled her June scores a couple of years ago, so she took them again in the fall. She had one test from her sophomore year, but Georgetown admitted her EA without the other two scores. I don’t know what school you are applying to EA.

I know that MIT says they accept November scores for EA and don’t score rush. So you should be okay.

You’ll be fine. Almost all the EA/ED colleges I looked into said that they would accept October SAT scores were fine. Just make sure you don’t miss those!
