Taekwondo, Ballroom dancing, Yoga etc... at ND

Hey, I was looking at ND's website as I plan on joining some of the ECS at ND. I was reading that if you do Taekwondo, you can get a black belt in 2.5 years. I mean, I used to do taekwondo when I was younger and I have really always enjoyed it. I guess, because it may occupy 3 days a week, do you think that as a premed, it is a pretty good EC in terms of showing dedication in club/sport? Does any current student have any more info on this?

Also, I was wondering, if you are involved in the programs, if you know about Ballroom dancing classes (on Wednesdays), Sahaja Yoga, the Premed Club, Circle K..

What I am really kind of worried about it is that, especially since I have learned in high school that too much time in ECs can affect your grades, is that I may not have time to be part of some of ND's fascinating clubs because it may hurt my GPA as a premed student.

Anyways, what are your thoughts on those clubs?

I am not a member of any of those clubs but what I will tell you is that the clubs usually are built around not interfering with grades, and they usually don't as long as you aren't president of 10 of them (which one of my friends literally was). Most are the type where you do as much or little as you want and you decide the time commitment. I don't know about these clubs in particular, however. Sorry.
