My question is just basically if the TAG agreement gives any advantage at all in transferring to a school like UCLA? Also, my CC didn't really give a clear explanation of it so I was wondering what it does in its entirety. Thank you!

I don't think UCLA has the TAG.

You're correct, UCLA doesn't have TAG. You won't be given any sort of advantage for UCLA for completing a TAG agreement for another school.

Why did my post move to the top? Weird....

BTW, this is not my post. It is sweetnezz998's.

Dunno, it's been happening to me as well.

Okay so I guess the only thing that UCLA has is the TAP agreement. Now my questions is, Is it impossible or a lot harder to get into UCLA without it? I understand that it is obviously easier but with a 3.67 GPA will I at least be considered?

That really depends...what is your major? If it's not impacted then you will be fine with a 3.67.

I'm sorry I might sound stupid but I don't know what impacted means. My major is Sociology.

Impacted means that demand for the major significantly exceeds space available and thus admission is much more selective.

Sociology is impacted and had a 35% acceptance rate this year with an average gpa of 3.61. You have a good shot.

Thanks so much
