<p>Yeah I’m about 90% sure. Its been my dream school for some time, but I’m applying to Cal, LA, and SB as well. I’d turn down SB but if Cal or LA let me in I’d have to consider them. They are longshots though and I almost want them to reject me in a way because I really really want to go to SC. </p>

I’m totally in the same boat. From what i understand i have a really good chance at Cal and UCLA (the only other schools I’m applying to), but I don’t know if i could pass up the experience SC offers, especially the lab opportunities as an undergrad. Plus i want to go on to grad school for bio anth which isn’t offered at the PhD level at UCSC, so theres plenty of time to look into those other wonderful institutions for the future. Anthro majors unite!!! hahah :P</p>

<p>@surfing Yeah, I’m most likely going to do live in the transfer center. And then I’ll get my own place after a year. Have you surfed Santa Cruz? I hear the water is pretty cold so a 3/2 won’t cut it. And sometimes you have to wear booties. :frowning: </p>

<p>@Ram I’m currently taking Bio Anthro and it’s the most interesting class I’ve ever taken. The only downside is that it’s online. So it’s not as “challenging”. I’m hoping I can retake it again at UCSC so I learn it a little better.</p>
