TAG (Davis)

So i'm going to apply for TAG for Davis this summer and there's a math requirement for my major (bio). I've taken 1 out of 2 classes (Calculus) for the math requirement, and received a "C". I plan on taking the second part of calc during the fall or the spring, but will my TAG application get rejected because of the C? My GPA will still meet the 3.2 GPA requirement.

Help me out PLEASE!

The 2012-2013 tag for Davis requires you have a 2.50 gpa for the calculus series Before you submit your uc tag application if you wish to tag for the college of biological sciences. You need to take the second calc and get at least a b to qualify for tag for bio because with the c you have a 2.0 for the series.

“Mathematics17A/B/C or Mathematics21A/B
Students must have a GPA of at least 2.50 for this group of courses. Students must have already achieved the minimum required GPA in the course(s) that have been completed before submitting the UC TAG Application, e.g. if one course from the group is completed at the time of TAG, that course must be completed with a B minus (B-) grade or higher.”

This is from the uc Davis 2012-13 tag criteria.

This means you have to take calc 2 in the summer not fall and get a b or higher. If you take it in the fall, you may have your tag denied as you won’t get your grades for fall before you submit your tag.

JNTHNL is 100% correct, i got tag this year for UCD, and got a B on calc 2 and a C in calc3. My GPA was higher than the 3.2 cut off for tag as a biochemistry major.
