Hi there guys. So i was checking the requirements to TAG to UCI’s Computer Science program but on their page I couldn’t find the section where it tells what courses are required to be eligible for tag ( i think davis has one). I went to assist and most of the cs classes aren’t comparable at the Peralta colleges district. Does this mean i only have to do the ones that are available here? And do i only have to do the require section or also the additional approved courses? Appreciate any kind of help

I looked at the page that has nearby colleges (link at bottom of post) and none of them seem to have any of the courses except Diablo Valley has one additional. Perhaps you should try and get that one.

You can only take what’s available and nothing really is. So get those few done and get your GE path completed. You probably have an option of either breadth or IGETC, but if you wish to apply to a lot of UCs, you might want to do IGETC so every base is covered and you don’t have to worry about double checking the GE course lists. You certainly have room in your schedule. And you can TAG.

Yes I’ll do that. I’m working on my IGETC. Including my major and IGETC and major classes( for UC davis) i have about 13-14 classes left to take( 6 of them are igetc so it can be taken onli e) and i have 4 semesters including the summer left which i think is more than enough. UCI and Davis have similar class requirements so hopefully i should be good.
