So my TAG to Santa Cruz was accepted but I received a message saying that the desicion from the Baskin School of Engineering would come separately (my major is computer engineering). So I got the letter and they said you have not yet completed enough foundation courses with grades for us to determine your eligibility and preparation for the major. On the website it give the list of foundation courses saying I need at least 5 done (I have already completed more than that). So does this mean my TAG is no good now? I won't be able to finish ALL the foundation courses in time for fall 2012 but I should have almost all of them done. What should I do? Will I get in to UCSC still so I can finish the foundation courses there and then go to bsoe? Or do I need to start applying to other schools quick?

i got the same email, im currently in progress for 1 and i finish the rest in spring. so i was kinda confused since i would meet all the criteria. This was the one part i was confused on the tag tho.

** Complete at least 60 semester (90 quarter) transferable units (including all minimum UC eligibility requirements).** If that was required on applying for tag. =( i only have 61 after this semester and 74 when i transfer.

It sounds like both you and I should have met the requirement…

Call them, they will answer all your questions. Don’t email… call

So i have the CS part of the foundation ip on my math. I asked them and they basically said since you didnt apply with almost all of the pre-req prior to tag you didn’t qualify for it. which i think is really weird when it says finish by spring 2012 your pre-req
