TAG: Leaving UC in Bad Standing.

So I just read somewhere that if you leave a UC campus in bad standing, you are not eligible for a TAG agreement for another campus. Is this true? If it is, how would I transfer... just make my GPA more competitive? I had met with the counselor earlier in the year and she had told me that I could fill out a TAG..

Yeah it’s true…the only UCs that allow you to TAG with coursework from another UC are UCSB and UCSD. They also specify that you had to have left in good standing…

You could just get a high GPA…finish prereqs etc

So UCD will not let you do a TAG even if you left in good standing?

well for UC Davis, their site says “A TAG may not be written for individuals who…have attended the University of California and did not leave in good academic standing.”

so nope…

It’s in this PDF:

so should I still follow the unit cap or will it not effect me?
