TAG? private-->ccc--->UC

<p>Hi, so I was wondering if I would even qualify to TAG into UCSB or UCSD in my situation. I spent 3 semesters at a private university, and I have been in my CCC since spring. I will have all my IGETC and prereqs finished by the end of fall.<br>
In calculating GPA for TAG, do they factor in my GPA from my private U and average it with my CCC? Also, if they do, my GPA would not be high enough until I reached the end of the fall semester. Would I still be able to sign a TAG contract that is due in September?<br>

<p>You can do this, but you can’t go over 80 units since not all of the units you want to count come from CCCs. </p>

You must earn a cumulative 3.0 minimum UC GPA earned by the end of Fall term 2010 and maintained through the end of Spring term 2011.

The following GPA requirements apply for the College of Letters and Science TAG. Applicants must:
Earn an overall minimum 3.20 GPA in all UC transferable course work by the end of fall 2010;
Earn a minimum 2.0 GPA in all UC transferable course work in fall 2010 term;
Maintain a minimum overall 3.20 GPA through the end of spring 2011;
Earn a minimum 2.0 GPA in all UC transferable course work in spring 2011 term.
