If I apply for TAG, and it gets rejected, will I still have a chance to be admitted through the regular admission pool, or does that mean my entire application is rejected?

UCSD does not offer TAG. Only UCM, UCR, UCSC, UCD, UCI and UCSB.

If you TAG to one of the eligible campuses and your TAG is denied, then yes your application will be considered in the regular transfer pool.
