So I want to sign the agreements with a couple UC's this fall. Ive been looking online for what the requirements are and I havent found any the require more than a 3.1(engineering i think) everything else is 3.0 or even 2.9 sometimes. However the counselors keep telling me you have to have atleast a 3.3. Can anyone clarify this?

I know for UC Davis it is a 3.1 GPA for engineering, thats the only one I know off hand. So what UC are you trying to transfer to?

its usually 2.8-3.1 like yous aid, i havent seen any that require a 3.3 UNLESS you are talking about some impacted majors at certain schools for which they do not let you have a TAG for the major but jsut for the school.

Like for UCSD- some of their majors they do not offer tag for directly, but just into the school so you should have a higher gpa if you want to get into the major too

i know this is a really late respnose but whatevvv
anyways my goal is to get in to LA but id be happy with irvine or davis. My question is if you meet all the minimum requirements for the TAG(gpa, units) is it guaranteed that your TAG will be approved?

yea it's pretty much a guarantee if you meet the requirements when you go to the "tag workshop" all you are really doing is making sure you have the required gpa & minimum amount of units. If you're good for both you can then make an appointment w/ a counselor and together you fill out the tag application and they submit it.

Thank you sir!! much appreciated
