I had my appt. for TAG applications on Sept. 1st. I was rather worried because of my poor performance in math classes but felt that my extracurricular activities as well as my above avg liberal arts performance would save me.

My actual gpa with all of my classes came out to a 2.48. Ick. But it turns out that many of the classes i did poorly in were not UC transferable. My counselor removed the non-transferable courses and she told me that I would be left with a 3.12gpa without my math classes.

Since the day of judgement isn't that far away, i decided to run through her work and had a heart attack. Whenever i removed the non-transferable courses i was left with a 2.82. Not the 3.12 I had seen. After scrutinizing her work I came to the conclusion that she had removed a statistics course that I had gotten a D in. Stat is a UC transferable course, I checked. Which means that she either errantly removed the course, or did for a reason I cannot fathom.

Now my question is, what are my chances of getting into a UC? Or even a good CSU? I filed TAG's for all of the UC's except for UC Riverside, and the two that don't accept them. (UCB, and UCLA)

And is there anything I can do to better my chances considering my predicament?
