Hi all, I’m going to try to make this a simple as possible. I go to Cabrillo in Santa Cruz which is the sister school to UCSC. I currently sit on 39 credits and a 2.87. For TAG I needed a 3.0. It seems as if I’m going to miss the boat since there absolutely no way it can go up in time. My couple questions are, on there website it says I need a minimum of 30 credits to apply. And if they only counted 30 I would definitely have a 3.0. Might be a dumb question but I was wondering if there’s a chance they would look at it that way? Also if that doesn’t work like that, whats my next best move? Would it be to just apply the normal way and hope that being from the town and going to the sister school will help me? My next classes are a bit easier than my past ones so I know my GPA will fly up. Just not soon enough for TAG unfortunately.
It doesn’t work that way. Sorry. Just work on your GPA. TAG is a nice safety net but not needed.
