<p>can’t talk about tag, but Econ is NOT that competitive to get into at UCI, at least it wasn’t last year. That said, this year they’re a little bit impacted so that might change a bit from here on out.</p>
<p>median GPA enrolled at UCI for econ as a transfer was 3.3</p>
<p>I don’t know what my UC GPA was, probably something for a matriculation expert haha, but I guesstimate it was in the 3.5-3.8 range and I didn’t have TAG</p>
<p>I had As in both my economics classes, a fair number of business and accounting classes classes and I took statistics which probably helped as well given the fact that stats is used heavily in econ.</p>
