I added all classes I took and I plan to take, and I've checked several times with the details in personal information. But the problem now is that I am not able to find a counselor to review it.

Can I submit it before 9/30 and get a drop-in counselor to review it by 10/15?

10/15? Tag applications are due on September 30th. I submitted mine without a counselor. Just make sure you go over everything to make sure you didn’t make any mistakes. Include ALL college courses you have taken, even if they aren’t UC transferable or were taken in high school.

You have me worried, I submitted my tag for UCSC without a counselor review. I am seeing my counselor a week from today. I guess I will see then. The other thing you could do is email a counselor or department head at Davis and ask if you are all set.

I could have misunderstood the passage. From my search on the collegeconfidential, there’s one post pointing out what I want to know:
“At my ccc the counselors automatically get the TAG application once you submit it and before they send it on to the UC. I am tagging UC Davis. I have gone to 2 TAG workshops at my CCC and the counselors have helped me finalize the application. Once I knew it was complete they said to hit submit and that they would be reviewing it before it actually gets sent off. So it sounds like them reviewing it is an automatic step.”

I tagged to UCD. What happens is on the UC Tag website, your counselor “claims” you. You submit your app on your own and then your counselor has to submit it too. Not all UCs require it. My counselor helped me fill it out and when I finished filling it out she “claimed” me as a student. This was sometime in August. Then Sept. 13th I submitted my app. I emailed her letting her know and she submitted it on her end too.

Yeah I think so but it could be different for each CC so I am not 100% sure. Your counselor may have submitted it without even telling you but like I said I don’t know. I also don’t know if there is a deadline for your counselor to submit but definitely ask him/her.

When you’re applying for TAG, you list all your coursework prior to transfer. If some classes slightly change during one of the quarters, is that ok?

Fogueira I am not 100% sure but I think as long as you aren’t dropping a major pre-req then you should be ok. For ex. I dropped business for english on my app but it has no affect as neither are required for TAG.

My counselor told me that when you submit the TAG application, one of the counselors from the CCC receive the information and approve it from there.
