okay, so congrats to you 2011 acceptances.

as far as TAG'ing goes, say to like UC Davis, do we TAG a different major then switch to bio? or do we tag straight to bio. trying to avoid all pitfalls or errors for my 2012 application.

thanks.

So you’re planning on changing majors to bio when you get accepted because you’re scared bio is going to be impacted?

I thought the TAG guarantee’s you admission into the school, but not the major. So even if you weren’t accepted into the bio major, you’d have to go through the changing major process over again.

The logical thing to do would be to apply for TAG as a bio major…

^changing major process?

For Davis, you’ll have to wait a quarter. During that quarter, you should be allowed to take pre-reqs and such, but maybe not upper div courses. During that first quarter, I believe, you are supposed to submit a “Change of Major” application to someone in your department. When changing majors from different colleges, you’ll need a sign off from both deans from both colleges.
