<p>When tailgating for the Iron Bowl NOT on the Quad, what are the regualtions as far as what day/time you can put up your tent?</p>

<p>Where were you thinking of putting put a tent?</p>
<p>Tents aren’t supposed to be put up until 5 o’clock Friday night, but I know from personal experience that that rule isn’t enforced on the quad. Many people stake out their territory on Friday afternoon. </p>
<p>However if you’re looking to set up elsewhere on campus you might have issues if you do so before the official time. Most places are roped off either by The University or from those who’ve been tailgating in those spots for years.</p>
