TAing

How lazy does it look if I TA during Senior year? I want to do it for a class(AP Econ) I'm really enjoying this year and want to maintain my relationship with the teacher because I just like discussing various topics with him a lot. I'm going to be requesting him to write me recommendations next year.

My planned schedule is
AP Comparitive Gov, AP Comp Sci, AP Bio, AP Physics C, AP Lit, Multivariable Calc/Linear Algebra

So would it look bad if I TAed as my 7th class or would my other classes balance it out?

Thanks

Ask him this spring if he will write your LORs for fall 2012 applications.
Usually you secure your LOR writers before your junior year is over.

I am positively certain there are much worse classes you can take. If you have a passion for the subject, it makes even more sense. Go for it!

-------------------------------------------If it is to be, it is up to me…

I think you would be insane not to TA. Your schedule looks really hard and I doubt one class would push you over the edge either way at any college.

If your teacher would let you TA, I don’t see why not. 'Course, to maintain a good relationship, you could just go and visit your teacher :P

Do you have a study hall or any electives…? It’s your senior year, brah

But then you can’t spend a whole class period improving your Angry Birds skills!
