The current year courses of the education section in commonapp asks for each courses credit value. I'm guessing in America that school reports tell you exactly what they are, but in Taiwan there's nothing of that sort.

However, Taiwanese school reports do list how many hours a certain course has per week. For example, Chinese, English, math and physics are 4 hours a week while chemistry and biology are 3 hours a week etc. Can I somehow convert this into Credit value?

I thank you gratefully in advance and wish you a merry Christmas.

You do not need to convert it. You should indicate hrs/week as the credits, and in Additional Information, indicate that your educational system does not provide credits, but hours/week, so that’s what you entered. Your counselor should do the same.
If a class is higher level - i.e., you’re in the track that prepares for science studies at university, so your STEM classes are more advanced than those in literature and economics, whereas someone who intends to study economics would have more advanced Economics classes but less advanced Biology… etc, that should be reflected in the course title.

So sorry for late reply, I’ve been writing my supplements recently.

Thank you for all your help, it really helped me a lot.

I have quite an urgent question.
I’ve submitted my commonapp today and it says I have to wait up to 2 days for this transaction to be posted to my Common App Online account and for my payment status to be updated.

I cannot submit my supplement writing if my payment status isn’t updated.
Does that mean I’ll miss the deadline of 1/1? (my payment was made on 12/31)

Thank you for all your help MYOS1634. You have been a life saver.
I managed to submit my applications.
Know I guess all I can do is cross my fingers and hope for the best.

Happy New Year!
And again, thank you so much!
