Take a college course?

Though summer might seem an opportune time to take an online college course, mine is quite full. Still, because of my sincere interest in the topic and, honestly, equally because of my desire to show that I challenge myself academically, I want to take a class in abnormal psychology.

The problem is that I'll be at a writing institute for part of the summer, and working an internship at a paper for the rest, and don't know whether I could juggle classwork on top of that. I know it will change from college to college and class to class, but does anyone have success/failure stories about a situation like this (taking an online course while doing a multitude of other things), or any insight at all as to whether it would be feasible? On top of that, does anyone have any knowledge of how much weight schools even give to the fact that an applicant has taken an online class at a (don't mean to offend) no-name university?

Thanks!
