Take a low grade or take the class again? **MA in Econ Question**

Hi all,

Hope everyone's finals are going well.

I just took my linear algebra final that's 40% of my grade and I don't think I did well at all. To worsen the problem, my teacher is very much as "all or nothing" type of grader. So, my question is, should I settle for C/C+ and move on or should I take the class again next semester? (I'm very confident I would get a higher grade).

I'm looking to apply to MA Econ programs with the same competitive level as NYU.

If it helps:

NYU Junior
Economics Major - 3.7 GPA
Math Minor - (A- Calc 1, B Calc 2, A Calc 3 so far)
I'm also beginning my research thesis next semester.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAY!!***

¿¿ Anyone ??

I personally would focus on the research thesis rather than wasting my time on taking the same course twice. It would be more significant doing something extra for the research project and get an amazing recommendation letter than boost your gpa by ~0.01...

Just an opinion.
