I went to Summer business camps, technology summer camps, traveled a lot, have like 200+ service hours with my school. I'm also doing Emory and Goizueta Business Scholars, so even if you don't get the scholarships, I think they still help you in admissions process, especially if your GC nominates you for both. My Common App essay told them how I brought a wide background from many different fields other than my major interest in business and medicine and how I apply it in real setting. I don't want to put my whole app or resume here (kind of did with resume lol), but what do you guys think? Do my GPA and ACT already give me a very strong chance even if my ECs aren't as strong as other people? I'm really into tennis though and I thought I conveyed that to them well.

If you do get that 33 ACT, I'd say pretty much in. I have a friend who goes who got in with a considerably lower GPA (good SAT score, though) and few ECs. The premise of your essay sounds solid too, just don't slack on the 'Why Emory' one.

If they consider my Emory and Goizueta Scholars essays in my app (and not just for the scholarship), I think I also have a very good chance because I've worked very hard on those. I really want to do Early Decision with Emory considering that I have to turn it in by ED anyways for the Scholars nomination forms.

By the way, I'll take that ACT October 25th, get my results probably November 5th or later, which is past that ED Deadline. I'll email them about it, but would they accept it that late? I really want to take a look at the score before sending it though, so that might delay it a little.

You have great stats & I think you have a great chance for emory scholars :)
i hope you get it!! good luck!
