Take all general ed classes

From my experience i think its better to take ur general ed classes in college first if ur thinking about going to an institute like for example i went to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. It would have been better for me to take my general Ed classes or if i took them at the same time because this way when u get ur AA degree which i did in Fashion Design @ FIDM and now i want to transfer my units to Cal State Northrdige so i can get a Bachelors degree and im going to have to take more classes to be able to have full units for CSUN to count as an AA degree in order for me to start my BA i mean i could get my BA at FIDM and it has the same accredidation as UCLA or any other University does but i want to experiance another school lol as much as i loved going to FIDM CSUN is closer to me.

I think freshman and sophomore years in college is a period where students take general classes before they officially declare their major. From my experience, do not wait until senior year to take a science or math class (if you are a humanities major) unless you know what you are doing. Get those classes out of the way freshman and sophomore year so that you can concentrate on your major(s). It is best to show gradual improvement in your grades too.

I would have gone nuts if I’d only taken general education classes at first. I really iked taking a mix. Make sure you are steadily taking care of gen ed requirements, but also explore the quirky courses in various majors, because that’s where you are likely to find out what you are passionate about. Some of the best courses I took were little seminars both with in and out of major.

A mixture of classes is another great idea. I did this while I was in college. I just know it is best to get the most difficult or boring classes out of the way early in college rathern than later.
