Back to my original question, should I take a
General Chemistry in college or not? If I need to take General Chem., what can I do to make my course load easier while still fulfilling the requirements for both majors?

Please excuse grammar. I can’t really proofread on my phone.

It appears you are a student who are capable of going beyond what your own school could offer. So most of what I said do not apply.

I remember many CC members (likely including BRM) suggested in the past that, for students not from Texas or who will apply to medical schools out of Texas, they should not take AP credits for physics and chemistry, unless they are 100 percents sure they will major in one of these two majors or a closely related major.

Some students (e.g., those at Rice) seem to take the general chemistry labs only, and many will take biochemistry later in their college career. But who knows whether these students intend to stay in Texas or not for their medical schools.
