<p>our school has included all of our SAT & AP scores on our transcripts. i've asked them several times to take them off but they refused. i also read somewhere on columbia's application that asked us to NOT take those off.</p>
<p>please tell me im wrong. i thought our scores were private and the school doesn't have a right to put it on our transcripts without permission!</p>

<p>Many schools think its a benefit to put test scores on HS transcripts. However, it can be a violation of FERPA, as well as state privacy laws. Check CB’s website where they specifically mention that high schools should NOT put test scores on transcripts. Note, however, that if the AP score figures into your final course grade, then the school probably does have reason to put the score on yoru transcript w/o violating privacy laws.</p>
<p>what about SAT scores? and those standardized tests (star test)?</p>
