<p>I'm taking 4 APs next year (Chem, Lit, Gov, Calc BC). Basically I have one class to fill which right now is Music Theory, which would be a very relaxing course lol. I'd like to take AP Stat but I'm not sure if it's worth it because I'm planning on majoring in Political Science.</p>

<p>How is statistics slack? Do you know the math involved in MANOVA, Paired T-tests, 2 sided t-tests, just for starters? Inference isn't easy either.</p>
<p>Take AP Stats. It's not hard, and it good come in hand when studying Political Science.</p>

<p>The class in high school is taught as an easy class only because the AP test is easy. I mean seriously, 90 minutes for 40 multiple choice questions? I was getting 5's on the practice exams in class with half the actual time.</p>
<p>But actual statistics, as diamondbacker said, is tough and very interesting.</p>
<p>I say take the class. It is seriously the best class I've taken in high school so far.</p>
<p>the subject of statistics isn't extremely simple, but the high school class definitely is. i slept EVERYDAY, didnt do a single assignment, and didnt even go after school to make up any exams i missed and i still got an A... the ap exam was a complete waste of 3 hours and i wouldnt be surprised if i got a perfect score on the multiple choice.</p>
<p>Statistics can actually have a big part of political science. you can use it in polls and stuff. w/e just take it lol. it's rly not too bad.</p>

<p>I would personally take AP Stats in your case because I have absolutely no interest in Music Theory.</p>
<p>I thought AP Stats was kind of interesting...useful for the real world, I guess...and not a hard test</p>
