Take EE40 concurrently with Phys 7B?

Is this a bad idea? EE 40 lists Phys 7B as a prereq; however, only the basic circuit equations (which I studied in high school) seem to be used.

I'd like to have two classes this summer, and I would have picked something like CS 61C if it weren't for the time conflict with Phys 7B. Unfortunately both the lab AND discussion sections conflict. So I can't take CS.

EE 20 isn't offered over summer, or I would have taken that.

I'd like to get the lower-div requirements over with first (CS 61 series + EE20/40).

No one here knows?

I'm taking EE40 (this summer) before Physics 7B :)

Physics is a pre-req but only portions of it.

You'd only have to worry about the work load which doesn't seem bad on the physics side.

you should be fine taking the concurrently. my CS friend took ee 42/43, which is essentially the same class as EE40 (EE40 is harder), without taking physics 7b befoer it. physics 7b has maybe two or three weeks on circuits which would be hlpful for EE40, but you could learn it on your own.

Thanks, guys -- and good luck to you, DarkPyr0.
