ok so I am pretty good at Math I think but I am currently in Algebra 2 as a Junior . I was going to take Math 1 because that is for my level but I really don't see why I am forced to break my back over it get probably a 700-760 because of the awful curve.. some schools don't even take Math 1 so it is like a waste. others take Math 2 leave a chunk blank and still get an 800. Being good at math I was wondering if I could just take Math 2 with Algebra 2 knowledge... The curve of the Math 1 really worries me. Can it be done? because I will not be taking Precalculus until senior year? Does Math 2 really require the entire year of Precalc or can I still achieve like a 700-750 with Math 2?

Don’t do it.
Otherwise, learn precalc by yourself.

Honestly there are only like 5 or 6 questions on the test that require pre-calc knowledge, so you’d still even be able to get an 800 by leaving them all blank. That being said, you can’t assume you’ll get everything else right. You should probably look at the material anyway, which basically covers matrices, vectors, parametrics, and I believe some probablity. Vectors and parametrics are somewhat simple, but the matrix system is fairly different from what you’ve seen so far. You’ll be fine taking Math II though, just review the material and take a few practice tests.

IDK about all of you guys, but precalc for me was all review… It was just that I never paid attention the first time.

^
Yup. 10char

I took it June sophomore year while in Trig and got a 790 after 3 days with a review book. Get a review book, take a week to practice, do well.
