Take Math IC and IIC on same day?

Just wondering if you can take both Math IC and IIC on the same day. Has anyone done this before? Thanks!

Why would you want to take both anyway? I took IC first (stupid), and the scoring on it actually makes it harder to score well on than the IIC test (you should easily get a 730+ if you did well in a precalculus course).

If you have taken a precalc course and studied for the IIC, then just take that. If you really do poorly (and practice tests should give you an idea before taking the real thing), then maybe take the IC if you really feel you can get a better score in it, but otherwise, it seems dumb to take both.

I understand why it may seem dumb to take both, but I do have a reason. Some colleges require three SAT II's and I must submit my two math tests because they are higher than my other scores. However, I would like to improve both of them if possible. If anyone has taken both Math SAT II's on the same test day, please let me know. Thanks again!

i did average on both... 670 math I 640 math II in 1 day

the content is not similar at all, I would just reccomend taking math II (im taking it again, i did bad because time ran out when i was on question 36)

I also took both on the same day. I got an 800 on each with no problem. As long as you have had pre-calc with a decent teacher you should be fine on both. I had no outside prep and found both pretty easy.

As others have pointed out, there is certainly no restriction against taking Math 1 and 2 on the same day. However, I'm not sure I agree with your logic. Schools require multiple Subject Tests to have students demonstrate achievement in multiple areas. Even if you got away with M1 and M2 as 2 of your 3 (and that is not a given), I can't imagine any circumstances where an admissions officer reviewing your file would look favorably on it (the only schools still requiring 3 are VERY competitive). Your response also implies that you have already taken other Subject Tests. Since colleges will receive all of your scores, if they don't like the fact that you tried to pass off two Math scores, they'll simply look at your other tests. So take both if you want, but you might think about bringing up one of your other scores.
