Take the AP exam before finishing the class?

<p>I want to start FLVS (florida virtual school) AP Biology in January.
I was hoping I could finish it before May.
But I don't have the time to finish the FLVS class that fast (It's 32 - 36 weeks, but you can finish it at your own pace)!!!! </p>

<p>I'm taking to many classes right now and have to much homework to finish the class that fast.
If I were to finish it around September, I would have to wait until may of 2014 to take the A.P. exam, and I would probably forget all the material.</p>

<p>MY QUESTION IS:
If I don't finish the class before May, can I just self study and take the test, while still taking the class???????
I don't really care about college credit, just weighted GPA.</p>

<p>I do care about the college credit, I’m just mostly concerned with the class right now.
I hope to make a 5 :smiley:
But if I don’t take the test AFTER I take the class, I don’t get a high school AP credit, I get a high school honors credit.
But i’ll be taking the test DURING the class so I don’t know if this will apply or not.</p>
