Take the C? Or the W......

I'm applying to transfer this semester and GPA is 3.64. I think I can get an A in all classes except Statistics. It's been really tough for me despite tutoring and completing everything. I'm in the middle 70's so i could possible raise my grade to a B with all the remaining assignments.

I really want to just stick it out and do the best I can, but if it ends up I get a C, my GPA will go to a 3.59. I'm applying to Berkeley under American Studies, TAGs for all other schools.

I'm thinking this will hurt my chances at Cal, though GPA isn't the only factor they consider. But I've gone 3/4 of the way might as well finish than get a W....maybe I should stop worrying and work on it.

I would definitely take the W if I’m sure that I will end up getting a C. I talked to like 4 Berkely reps and they all said that UCs delete the courses that we got Ws in when making admission decisions. So you won’t be penalized by having a few Ws. They said that as long as we don’t get repeated Ws in same course, it won’t affect us at all.

Thanks @ Berkeleyphil.
