Take the SAT a 4th time?

I'm applying to Harvey Mudd, and there's particular merit scholarship that they potentially give to students who have:

Verbal: 700+
Math: 750+
Math iiC: 750+
Writing: 700+

Rank: Top 10%

I basically qualify for all of the above, EXCEPT that my verbal is 690!!!!! I know many people say that taking the SAT 3 times is enough, but I'm confident I can raise my verbal over 700 this time. (I took one of my SAT"s sophmore year). Thus, I was wondering if I should take the december SAT to raise my verbal over the 700, so I could qualify for the scholarship. Please respond.

any one want to respond?

If you have the time to spend then go for it. 3 or 4 times a college will probably regard them as the same. but if you would rather take the time to raise your satII then you should do that.

Contact Harvey Mudd, and see what they think of your predicament.

If you have time, I would do it. Just make sure to only send the scores to harvey mudd, that way if the scores are bad, it wont mess up your app to other colleges.
