Take the SAT a third time?

<p>Hi I just received my SAT results back. My score dropped by 10 points. What is strange is that my math score went up drastically while my writing score tanked.
The last time I took it was in October. I received:
720 CR, 700 math, 770 writing (2190)
this time i received: 700 CR, 790 Math, 690 writing. (2180)</p>

<p>If I superscore it I get 2280. It's just weird that I did so horrible in writing this time. And I felt like I got better at CR after a tough year of junior year English and vocab memorization.</p>

<p>If I take it a third time or October or November, do you think it's possible to get 2300+?</p>

<p>Maybe I should just take the ACT.. this is upsetting...</p>

<p>You can make it even more possible by identifying your weaknesses on each section and working on improving those areas.</p>
