Take your pick

I need to send two of the following three scores to Harvard. Please tell me which two you would send. Thanks!

690 Biology M
720 Mathematics Level 1
710 Mathematics Level 2

720 Mathematics Level 1

thanks for the response
but which TWO would you choose

I would send all three…

send math level two for sure

Send all 3.

Why send only two? Do you have some other test as the third required SAT subject test?

ya i already sent a language subject test
do you still suggest i send all three?

What was your score on the language SAT? If you send all four, Harvard evaluates you based on the top three scores.

750 on the language one

The Math 2 and Biology.

The 720 in Math 1 is more impressive because there is no curve, but people will most likely disagree with me.

Math II and Biology.

The Math II because it is higher-level. 10 points difference from the Math I score is negligible.

Biology because it does not make sense to send in two math scores when you can send in a score in a third subject.

Thanks for all the responses!
Browniebaker what do you think about “The 720 in Math 1 is more impressive because there is no curve.” Do you think admission officers will consider this?

Math 2 and Biology

I don’t understand motion12345’s statement. All SAT subject tests are scored on a scale of 200 to 800 – a curve. Maybe motion12345 is referring to Math II’s reputely being graded on a more generous curve than other SAT subject tests. Math II is however, preferred to Math I, because it is a higher-level test. For example, engineering programs typically require the Math II subject test, not the Math I.

personally i would send all of them if i couldnt decide. they say they only look at the top scores anyway, and it’s not like admissions offices’ purpose is to lie to applicants. (: 2 math tests to finish fulfilling the requirements is kind of iffy, so if you consider that you have to send the biology, you might as well send both maths 'cause they’re only 10 points apart.

I got 760 Math I/800 Math II/760 Biology/700 Chem and sent them all in.

Math I is harder than Math II because there is no curve; I did not answer 3 questions on Math II and still got 800
