You should be good with OU or OSU. I have several people in my school who were in a similar situation and easily got accepted. I’m not too sure about the scholarships but there are definitely things you can get to help cover the costs. I’m assuming that since you need help form scholarships then you don’t have Oklahoma promise, but there are tons of scholarships you could get to pay for you to get in (Im pretty sure that neither are too expensive in state). Your scores are fine. A recent graduate form my school got in with a 24 and a much lower GPA. If you want to take the ACT again, I don’t think these particular schools would mind. If so, get a really good prep book (preferably a harder one, as to not give you false hope for the test), take a bunch of practice tests, and don’t take it until your satisfied with the practice scores your getting.

I think I am nervous. But I also don’t like the fact that majority of it is English. The reading section is extremely difficult. I sometimes don’t get to the last passage at all. Any tips?

It might be because you are rushing it perhaps. That was personally my biggest problem on the ACT when I took it (I only finished the Math section and guessed a lot of the other sections due to time running out but I still got a 25).

The SAT is a much better test if you aren’t the type that likes to rush or works a bit more slowly.

DST246, I feel for you. Don’t worry too much.
My child had the opposite problem. He took the SAT 3 times and couldn’t get a score higher than 1900. Then he gave up on the SAT and instead took the ACT. He got a 34 on the first try.
ACT and SAT are structured differently and have different emphases so you may want to try the SAT and see if you get better scores.
