<p>I'm planning to take a course (creative writing ) that's not in my school's roster for list of approved UC courses. I don't really want to take this course, but all the other courses are filled up, and the only reason I am willing to take it is if it increases my chances of admission into UC Davis. </p>
<p>Does UCD even look that even though its non-uc approved a-g course and it is during summer?</p>

<p>the only classes that go on your UC app are 'a-g' courses....not PE, not health, not driver's ed..... However, if you are interested in creative writing, it could show your passion. If so, could you take a creative writing class at a junior college? You'd likely recieve a bonus point for the class....</p>

<p>you can add it to the 'Other' section of the app, but if its not even a college prep course, human nature says that they won't give it a lot of credence even if you earn an A....</p>
