Taking 2 AP exams in one day

This year, I have the option of taking both AP World History and AP Microeconomics on one day, or just taking APWH. Unfortunately, my school does not offer make-ups.

Have you done this before? My main concern is becoming mentally exhausted before finishing the six-hour exam marathon. Please share your experience, if you've been through this situation before.

Thanks in advance! :)

Many students successfully take two (sometimes three) exams in one day.

Ahh gotcha, thanks! I think I’ll go ahead and take both exams then.

I did world/micro back to back my sophomore year and got 5s on both exams. It wasn’t too mentally grueling, but that’s because I was well prepared for both exams. Last year, I thought that US Government / French Language was grueling, but that’s more because I was atrociously bad at French to begin with. Best of luck!

I’ve taken two in one day: it’s doable, but I was exhausted at the end.

I took AP Chem and AP Psychology on the same day last year. I was able to scarf down a lunch in between, and it was almost a relief to take the psych exam right after chem because it was so easy in comparison, haha. I don’t think it would be too bad if you were well prepared for both. Just eat a big breakfast that morning and try to squeeze in at least a snack in between. :)

Nonexistent, can I ask how you did because I have to take Chem and Pysch on the same day this year too =[

I have to take Comparative Government and Politics and U.S. Government and Politics in the same day… So it’s not that bad?
