Taking 2 Foreign Language Classes in 1 Semester

So I'm an incoming freshman and I really wanted to take 2 foreign language classes. One of them is Spanish 4 which I already signed up for. The other one is Intermediate Korean for Heritage Speakers.
I'm also taking Asian Studies 10, Math 16A (I already took AP Calculus AB, got a 5, but I have to take it again b/c of Haas, I got a 4 on my Calc BC exam...early senioritis.), and English 24 (1 unit seminar class).
I have already taken AP Spanish, got a 4 on the exam, but I feel like I'm very rusty at Spanish since I haven't used it for an entire year. And obviously, I'm Korean so I have some background.
However, I'm worried about taking 18 units my first semester at college. I feel like I'm potentially a smart person and can survive (I'm a Regents Scholar along with GPA, SAT, etc) but then again, I'm really worried.
Is this schedule doable?
Thanks!

personally i wouldn’t want my freshman year to be like that, you are still getting used to the school and new environment, so i would lessen the load a bit…however, if you want to prove something and/or challenge yourself and you think it is doable then i’d say go for it. but remember, you can always do that the following year

ur taking korean 10ax?

1ax was so fun for me =)
also helped that i already knew some people there, such a fun class (easy 5 unit A helps too… gpa boost ftw)

also class had lot of pretty girls 8)

wait if ur taking 10ax then that class is at… 8 AM
oh lawd good luck with that…
i know couple of friends that are taking it too (ugh i wish i coulda taken it too but doesn’t fit my schedule! =(((( )

Language classes at Berkeley are notoriously time-intensive, and their grades count highly toward your semester GPA given that the courses themselves are almost always, if not always, 5 units (the most units for a given class that I’ve ever heard of). As a result, and given the fact that you presumably want to keep you GPA up for Haas, I’d take one language class at least in the fall and get a better idea of whether or not you can handle 2 in one semester moving forward. That being said, the whole consideration changes if you are entertaining the idea of taking at least one of them pass/no pass.
