Taking 3 Subject Tests?!?

I got a 710 on math 2 last year, so I’ll be retaking. In addition, I want to take both bio E and bio M since I just finished AP Bio. Will taking math 2, bio e, and bio m in one sitting be too much for me?

Also, I am a little confused about using score choice for my subject tests. Can I submit individual subjects, regardless of whether I took them with others, or do I have to send in all subject tests from one specific test date (for example submit all the ones I take in June).

oh whoops, just realized I cant take both bio e and bio m during the same administration :frowning:

Regardless, is three tests too much? And can someone answer my question about score choice?

Thanks!

My daughters private prep cc recommended three. She said two is great but for more selective schools three is better.

It depends on the college. Most allow score choice for subject tests, but a handful do not. However, if they explicitly want all scores, they will say so on their website.

It depends on you. If you are prepared for three, it’s not bad. After all, they are only 1 hour each. But if you’re not prepared, don’t force it.

YMMV, but submitting 3, IMO, is not “better,” or at least will not tip the scales in the admissions process. Taking 3 to find the best 2 to send (again if the uni allows score choice) might be OK.

No, three tests isn’t too much. Although it may be redundant as most schools only require 2 subjects (one math and one science) but that varies by school
