Taking 4 summer classes in a two-months session

Hi guys, I need your honest opinion. I am planning to take 4 summer classes in a two-months session. Will it be too much? Will it be worth it? Thank you.

Two classes meet once a week and the other two are online.
Business Finance
Small Business Management
Principles of Marketing
Comparative Religions (GE)

College-level classes?

Yes. Three are my business classes and the other one is a general education class

I think this would be too much unless you have heard of the instructors for all four classes and know they’re super easy and lenient.

I have taken 2 classes at Penn last summer, and it wasn’t too bad for me. I would really advise against taking 4 in summer tho. Are you a rising senior? If you are, you might want to use the summer to visit some colleges and start your essays. Don’t overwhelm yourself. Are you trying to go for a top business school? How is your GPA now?

I am a junior in a university in California. I just want to lessen my workload in the regular semesters. My GPA is 3.8 so far.

I would advise against it. Don’t take more than two classes over the summer.

I’ve taken two (history and music appreciation) and was pretty busy. I suggest taking two, and no more than three.

Have you ever taken a summer class before?

Yes.

Can you graduate in 4 years without taking summer classes? (5 classes a semester)
If you are able to graduate in four years without summer classes you would be saving on the tuition money spent to take classes over the summer. These summer classes are extra costs aside from your four years of tuition money. If you want to get ahead by taking summer classes will you be able to graduate a semester early so that you don’t have to pay for that last semester? That would be the only reason I can think of to consider taking 4 classes over the summer. Still I wouldn’t recommend it because summer classes are compressed and you have to learn a semesters worth of material in about 6 weeks. It maybe better to get a job to build your resume because both your academic performance and internships will help you in finding a job upon graduation.
