<p>Do you alady have chem and physics? If not I’d take one of those, but sure it’s okay.</p>
<p>My D took honors biology as a freshman and is planning on taking AP Biology as a senior and taking the AP Bio test. She needs an advanced science to graduate under the most rigorous academic plan in the district. So, I think it’s pretty common to do. Just be sure that your counselor checks most rigorous curriculum when applying (if you are interested in selective colleges).</p>

<p>Yes that’s completely fine. You’re not taking the same course twice. At many schools, including my high school, biology honors is a prereq to AP Bio. What you’re doing is the equivalent of taking french 3 and then AP French. Its not by any means taking the same course twice.</p>
