Does it help with admissions if you take a college course over the summer? I am thinking of taking a writing class and maybe psychology at the local community college. Will it be worth it in terms of admissions to top schools?

Personally I think it works, because I took a political science class, two economics classes, psychology and pre-calculus and I got into UCLA. Which is the school that I am going. I recommend that you take the writing class instead of the psychology class because the writing class will help you develop your writing skills and get you ready. For example, AP English (11th and 12th),both the SAT and ACT writing portions.

thanks, and any more opinions?
