Hi! I'm a student who is taking 4 AP classes, meaning 4 AP exams will be over by the time the course starts. I want to take an Intro to Western Philosophy course. If the course is from 6:00-9:00pm(ish) 2 days a week from June 1st to July 12th, will I be able to handle that? My last regents is probably at the end of June, but I will have a week or so of nothing between my last final and my last regents. Do you think it would be reasonable to do? I know people even take college classes throughout the year, but that seems tough so I figured after APs would be a bit easier. The college is also 1/2 hr about from my house, meaning add 1 hour of time commitment to that, plus the studying needed. Hopefully there will be no huge exams in the course before July but I don't know for sure.

I will be at the university anyway over the summer doing research, so I might possibly take Dvt. of European History (which Philosophy can be used as a prerequisite for if I read the course listing things right) at night, depending on how similar it is to AP Euro which I took last year.

I'm trying to figure out some more info before asking my parents about it (I don't have my driver's license yet; I'm a junior right now, so they would have to drive me).

Any thoughts?
