Taking a lot of classes irrelevent to major

my major is economics but i am taking a lot of other humanities classes because im hoping to have a more diversified educational experience while in college. for example, im taking many psychology (3-4) and sociology (1-2) classes and in addition to that im taking an elementary japanese course and 2 advanced korean language courses (im korean). would this look bad since im taking so many classes out of my major?

and some people say psych and sociology classes are easy but my main reason for taking them is because im genuinely interested in the topics these courses cover.

You’re not going to school in Europe and you’re not going for a Masters. In most liberal arts majors 1/3 of your classes are free electives (1/3 major, 1/3 gen ed). Some students like to use those free electives to concentrate on a minor because it provides more structure than randomly taking courses. You’re fine for law school.

Taking a breadth of courses outside your major is MORE valuable than narrowly focusing on your major. Law schools, when asked about the preferred curricula for their applicants, often answer that they like to see a diverse, liberal arts focus. If anything else, taking many electives can only help you.
