Taking a predent class at a different school---a sin?

I got really sick last semester and had to be removed from two classes that resulted in failure. One class I passed but that passing line is a 51%, and two teachers gave me A's out of pity.

I am redoing orgo 1 completely and finishing up physics for a grade change at the end of the semester---effectively taking both classes again. This means I will have to do either orgo 2 or physics 2 in the summer if I don't want to die in the fall.

Orgo 2 is my natural inclination because I want to finish it out, but in case something happens again, I will probably need to be at home in Tallahassee. I'll be taking it at FSU.

Do you think that this is a sin for dental schools? Anyone been in my place?

I don’t have any truly valuable input on the matter but at least you’d be taking it at FSU and not a community college. As far as like medical school I’ve had advisers tell me they do prefer you to take the courses at the same school but it seemed to be more in reference to community college rather than another university. She said a lot of them just view classes at a CC as being “easier”… so if you don’t have a choice due to your medical condition I wouldn’t think it’d be as big of a “sin” since you’d be taking it at a state 4-year college. I’m assuming dental school also has an essay so maybe when you apply you could explain that hardship in your essay.
